Welcome to Effingham! The City of Effingham is located in the heart of Illinois, where Interstate 57 meets Interstate 70. Our excellent location in Central Illinois has allowed our community to grow, as new businesses continue to locate in our City. Effingham is the home of several manufacturers, restaurants, retail stores, medical service facilities, hotels, and numerous other businesses. Our constant challenge is to continue to find new ways to maximize the potential of our growing community.

 

I welcome visitors and new arrivals to our city, and I personally invite you to venture out, enjoy the amenities, and become a part of our thriving community.
