CELLULAR COMMUNITY NOTIFICATION SYSTEM

To assist in securing a safer community, the City of Effingham is now offering Effingham City residents the ability to place one cellular number on the Community Notification System. The Community Notification System is utilized to notify citizens of emergency situations based on home location that may involve your area.

This service is open only to Effingham City residents. Only one telephone number can be assigned per address. Effingham City residents with current land lines are already registered in the Community Notification System and are not eligible for the cellular option.
