EFFINGHAM FIRE DEPARTMENT- APPARATUS

The fire department’s equipment and apparatus is considered state of the art. The apparatus includes three (3) engines, one (1) ladder tower, one (1) TeleSquirt, one (1) Heavy Rescue, Hazardous Material Response Trailer, and four (4) service/staff vehicles. The most recent addition of fire apparatus was placed into service in 2001 with the oldest piece placed into service in 1976 (currently reserve).
