911 Communications

911 Communications is responsible for dispatching calls for service to police, fire and emergency medical services by answering telephone lines and assisting and supporting public safety.

Effingham Police Department 911 Communications is the primary Public Safety Answering Point (PSAP) for the City of Effingham's police, fire and emergency medical services. We are also the primary dispatch for Mutual Aid Box Alarm System (MABAS) 54 fire services.
