Variance for solar energy system
Notice is hereby given that the Zoning Board of Appeals of the City of Effingham, Illinois, will hold a public hearing on the 28th day of November, 2023 at 6:00 P.M. in the City Council Chambers, 1st Floor, City Hall, located at 201 East Jefferson Avenue, Effingham, Illinois, at which time and place all interested parties may participate in the Public Hearing by presenting testimony and questions on a petition requesting a Variance to allow a Ground Mounted Solar Energy System larger than 50,000 square feet but less than 100,000 square feet to be installed on a parcel larger than 5 acres per Article 23A-2 in Appendix B of the City of Effingham Municipal Code (Zoning Ordinance No. 44-89), in a B-2 General Commercial District.
