Spring/Summer Seasonal Staff

The City of Effingham is seeking candidates to work as seasonal staff during the Spring and Summer, 2025. The starting wage is $15.50/hour at 40 hours per week. All positions are day shift, Monday – Friday. Employees in this position receive one (1) hour of paid leave for every forty (40) hours of time worked. No other fringe benefits are offered for this position. Minimum age for employment is 16 years. This posting will remain open until the positions are filled.

Positions are open in these Public Works Department divisions:
• Street & Sewer
• Water Maintenance
• Public Properties
• Wastewater Treatment Plant
• Water Treatment Plant
• Engineering Intern
