The City’s Municipal Electrical Aggregate will end in December, 2025. During this year’s bidding process, the City was unable to secure through the aggregate process a lower rate than Ameren. Residents on the City’s aggregate will automatically return to Ameren at a lower rate.  You still have the option to choose an electrical supplier other than Ameren, within two months, although Ameren will remain your provider.

How long does the approval process take?

Depending on the workload of involved staff, a permit is generally issued within a few days after the inspection.

Please allow at least a week to obtain an approval after your application has been submitted.
