City Hall will be closed for the following holidays: Tuesday, December 24th; Wednesday, December 25th; Tuesday, December 31st; Wednesday, January 1st. If you need to make a utility payment, please use the drop box located on the east side of City Hall. If you have a water/sewer emergency, please call the Water Treatment Plant at 217-347-5056. What happens after the project is complete?

Once the project is complete the project owner needs to report to the final cost of building materials and labor, along with the number of current employees to the Enterprise Zone Administrator in order to close the project.

All sales tax exemption certificate holders will need to report to the Illinois Department of Revenue the year following the project. This takes place in the Spring. The Illinois Department of Revenue will notify through email when the reporting opens. The actual cost of building materials and labor incurred by the certificate holder will be reported.
